IGCSE Grade Calculator
Levels & boards: IGCSE Mathematics (Years 10-11) Cambridge International 0580; Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Mathematics A 4MA1. Verified route and examination series required.
Use this IGCSE grade calculator to total two component marks, check a published Mathematics threshold and see the gap to your next grade. Choose a verified historical route or build a clearly labelled custom weighted calculation.
Made for independent learners in Hong Kong and across the GCC: the UAE (including Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah), Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. Choose your exam board and syllabus, wherever you study.
Interactive controls are not ready yet. If this message remains after loading, the page script has not completed. Read the study material below; do not rely on inactive buttons. Check that WordPress retained the script and that an optimisation or security rule is not blocking it.
Enter weighting factors, not percentage shares. A factor of 1 leaves a raw mark unchanged. Use the same weighted mark scale for the thresholds.
Custom entries are not verified by MYT. Leave this blank to calculate a percentage without assigning a grade.
How to use the IGCSE Grade Calculator
- Match the board, qualification, year, tier and exact component combination to your papers.
- Enter both raw marks. Use the custom mode only when you understand the official weighting factors.
- Read the percentage, historical grade comparison and next-threshold gap together.
A worked example
For Cambridge Mathematics 0580, June 2026, Extended components 22 and 42, marks of 75 and 75 total 150 out of 200. The published B threshold is 120 and A threshold is 154: this example reaches B and is four weighted marks below A. The raw percentage is 75%, not a Cambridge Percentage Uniform Mark.
What to check before using your result
- The loaded reference set covers Mathematics only: Cambridge 0580 June 2025 and June 2026, and Pearson linear 4MA1 June 2026.
- A Core result cannot earn a grade that is unavailable in the Core grading route.
- A threshold from another paper option, regional variant, subject or future session is not interchangeable.
Make your next practice session count
Use this result as a starting point, not a label for your ability. Record one error, explain its cause and complete a similar question without the worked answer. Then try a different example to check that you understood the method rather than remembered a number.
For exam-style application, choose the correct board and component in the MYT past-paper directory. For guided explanations, explore subject-specific online tutoring or request a free 30-minute demo.
Questions about this tool
Why does the grade differ from my percentage?
Exam boards award grades against the applicable thresholds, not a universal percentage chart. Your percentage describes your marks; the selected table provides a separate historical comparison.
What if my subject or series is missing?
Use the custom mode with values you have verified from the official source. No official grade is assigned unless a compatible threshold table is supplied.
Do I need an account or need to send my results?
No account is required by this tool. Its calculations run in your browser. Tools with a Save on this device option store data locally only when you choose it; your browser, device policy and storage settings can affect persistence. Export important records before clearing browser data. This describes the tool, not any separate site analytics or contact-form processing.
