Grade Boundary Explorer

Levels & boards: IGCSE Mathematics (Years 10-11) Cambridge International 0580; Pearson Edexcel 4MA1. Selected historical Mathematics series only.

Browse sourced Mathematics grade-boundary tables and compare the same Cambridge route across two years. This grade boundary explorer separates the awarding threshold from a percentage or a predicted future result.

Compare an identical route across years

How to use the Grade Boundary Explorer

  1. Filter the board, year and tier to locate your exact loaded route.
  2. Read the paper combination and maximum mark before comparing any values.
  3. Use the comparison panel only for the same qualification, tier and components.

A worked example

Cambridge June 2025 Mathematics 0580 Extended components 22+42 had an A threshold of 152/200. In June 2026 it was 154/200. That two-mark difference describes the published thresholds; it does not prove that the next paper will require 156 marks.

What to check before using your result

  • Coverage is limited to 16 verified Mathematics route datasets, not all boards or subjects.
  • Do not confuse a component threshold with the threshold for an overall qualification option.
  • A linear Pearson 4MA1 table must not be applied to a modular qualification.

Make your next practice session count

Use this result as a starting point, not a label for your ability. Record one error, explain its cause and complete a similar question without the worked answer. Then try a different example to check that you understood the method rather than remembered a number.

For exam-style application, choose the correct board and component in the MYT past-paper directory. For guided explanations, explore subject-specific online tutoring or request a free 30-minute demo.

Questions about this tool

Why can some tables not be compared?

Different maxima, paper combinations, tiers or qualifications make a simple mark difference misleading. The comparison panel requires those attributes to match.

Does this calculate my grade?

This page is for browsing and comparing sources. Use the linked IGCSE Grade Calculator to enter marks against a supported route.

Do I need an account or need to send my results?

No account is required by this tool. Its calculations run in your browser. Tools with a Save on this device option store data locally only when you choose it; your browser, device policy and storage settings can affect persistence. Export important records before clearing browser data. This describes the tool, not any separate site analytics or contact-form processing.
